Roles and Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Mid range SUN servers till 6900, HP and IBM servers, configuring and maintaining Sun cluster, Installation and configuration of Sun Storage, Veritas Volume manager and backup products like Veritas Netbackup together with the following: 1. Server Reinstallation and configuration. 2. Use Jump start to automate installation. 3. Support during So ftware Installation. 4. Define Account Policy. 5. Define Password length and Password Age 6. Define Administrator / Supervisor Password restrictions. 7. Managing Disk space, Processor Utilization, Network Utilization related to server 8. Analysis of log files. 9. Root Cause Analysis 10.
